Bible

While discussing our night out in the courtyard this morning my friends spoke about telling someone that they should invest in a Bible. As we laughed hysterically, a girl begins to tell us about the Bible app. and of course I was downloading it in a heartbeat. The idea of the Bible app. was very intriguing and just something I was not expecting to hear about. I grew up Irish Catholic, went to a private school and was even an alter boy and the app. for the Bible was just a straight up mind f**k. When the app first opens up, it shows you the verse of the day.

Below it is John 1 the full scripture. Here is where the app. begins to get interesting, you can click on John 1 in the center top of the app. and select different books, chapters and  verses. In all honestly, I find the Bible to be confusing but this part of the app. breaks it all down into a simple and easy format.

When you are on a script, you can even have  audio played back to you.  It is a males voice and it is the same guy for each book. His voice is actually interesting and definitely draws you in.

You can bookmark what you want as long as you create an account and too can search for specifics within the Bible.

Under setting you are able to change the brightness of the screen for day/night, even  the size of  the writing and the font!

Off to the side you can open another menu which has a whole list of things you can further do with the app. which are self explanatory.

Overall, I think I will be a born again Catholic with this app. It is truly well put together with multiple options to customize it for yourself. Also, I like the fact that is just the scripts of the Bible and not a bunch of holy pictures. I highly recommend this to those who are religious or even those who sometimes just need a pick me upper in spirituality form.
